Golf Car Catalog offers a limited number to transmission case gaskets for older Club Car golf cart models. The transmission case gasket is used to form a seal between the case halves of the differential or rear end housing. This gasket prevents the oil or lubrication within the differential from leaking out. This housing is also sometimes called the "pumpkin". In most modern golf cart differentials, they no longer use transmission case gaskets, but rather just use a bead of oil-proof silicone between the case halves.
