Golf Car Catalog offers carburetor gaskets for many golf cart brands and models including Club Car, EZGO, Yamaha, Columbia, Harley and many more. There is usually at least one carburetor gasket per gas golf cart and often two. There is always a carburetor gasket located between the carburetor and where it mounts to the engine. Depending on the brand, there is sometimes a second carburetor gasket on the other side of the carburetor where the fresh air intake is supplied.
A carburetor gasket, when used on the outer side of the carburetor helps to make a seal so air cannot leak in or out of the intake. When used on the inward side of the carburetor, the carburetor gasket forms a seal to prevent the air and fuel mixture from leaking.
