This is a rear cover for the starter generator on various gas golf carts with counterclockwise engines. This cover fits the end of the starter, which is completely closed./>

Usually the starter generator rear cover does not need to be replaced. The most common reason of replacement is wear to the mounting holes, which causes them to become elongated to the point where the starter no longer holds fast.
